Not sure is it a positive or negative review. It's a review about my failures and success as a beginner fish keeper. I decided to go with livebearer male only tank( as my water is on the hard side.. ph 8). So I bought 2 swordtails, 2 silver Mollies and 3 guppies.. to start with. By the end of the first week 1 swordtail was dead( RIP Sharkie). Decided to buy 4 extra swordtails for companionship, by the end of the second week 3 of these new swordtails were dead( RIP Albino brothers and Stripe). By the end of week 4..2 of my male guppies died aswell( RIP Blue and Fancy). So I was on the verge of throwing in the towel. Decided something needed to be changed. Thought that maybe male only environment was too stressful..as I checked the water parameters( every 2 days or so) and they were suitable for livebearers. So, in came the "women" from other aquarium shop. And for now no deaths from men community. I'm now about 8 weeks in. I know there could be so many reasons behind deaths...bad breeding stock, stress of travelling, stress between tank mates or something I did wrong...or mixture of all. But for now I think we have reached some kind of a fragile balance... was about time :)

The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. Bought a juvenile flowerhorn and a red tail catfish. Every time i have been there i was not disappointed due to the wide selection of fishes compared to the other fish shops I've been to. Definitely recommend 👍🏼
