I went inside the shop to ask what to do to help my fish with a swollen body and sluggish movement. The two people at the counter were very informative and helpful. They told me what they suspected the problem was and the prognosis wasn't good. They suspected it was dropsy and it had gone too far. They then went on to recommend that I might be lucky to save my fish. The treatment recommended was with a type of health salt. They also pointed me to a website of vets who could give me more information. I bought a bag of salt. They ep calculate what I needed in my pond when I told them the size Since I added the salt, the fish's movement has improved 👌 I am hoping that the swelling would reduce too. Thank you Kingfisher fisheries for the support, reassurance, and information. I definitely will be returning ☺️

Bought a number of fish from them and all have thrived and grown very well from rudd, chub barbel and golen orfe. Have also used them for a number of other itesm and pricing always keen and advice is always sound unlike other places not too far away. Always very helpful and happy to have a chat. So I was looking for a new tropical fish tank and went to maidenhead aquatics over the road for the first time and saw the fluval roma 240 with Bluetooth led light and external 307 filter for £599 + delivery £45 which I wanted, they had one in stock however it was the wrong colour so on the way to crews hill station we saw KINGFISHER AQUATICS and went to have a look. Immediately I was Impressed how big it was inside as it looked small, I was greated upon entering by the staff, I had a little look around they have a very good verity of fish at a very reasonable prices, so I spoke to one of the staff keith and explained the situation with maidenhead aquatics, he checked the price he could get them for and said he could do it for £595 including delivery to N17 tottenham saving me £50 so I came back one week later and bought this no brainer deal , i was called three days later by keith informing me it had been ordered and would be delivered by himself the following Monday which was brilliant I would definitely recommend this family run business over larger outlets service was amazing will send you some pictures off the new tank once its all set up thanks keith top man
