Kin Knives really are a cut above the rest. Following advice from Harriet (super helpful and knowledgable) I purchased my first ever Japanese knife of quality. I was pretty excited on receiving my delivery, wrapped with care and handy info sheet included too. What can I say! It's a work of art, my knife is stunning, original Japanese wooden handle with a Kin Sharp Blade. More than I expected and I cannot recommend these guys more highly. Now off to get chopping with my super sharp blade.

Honestly the best knives I've ever used, and such a friendly and helpful service. The knives themselves are beautiful, I've bought a few now and will never go anywhere else. The sharpening service is exceptional. Really lovely to see a small, family run company doing so well, and I honestly can't recommend them enough!

I now have 3 knives from the Kazu range of Kin Knives, a 150mm petty, a Santoku and a Nakiri. Really enjoying using them and very pretty to look at in the knife block. My wife prefers for the petty for food prep as not as unwieldily as larger kitchen knives. The Santoku is my one of choice especially how easy it seams to cut up a grapefruit for my 8 yr old daughter, her favourite snack and near daily request for me to prepare for her :) . I needed to get my knives sharpened recently and have to say how impressed I am with the customer service and quick turn around. Keep up the great work, highly recommend this company and I'm sure I will be back for one of you Kin Chopping boards shortly.

This time, we took a service only for sharping our 2 kitchen knives though their service was excellent. They sharped each knife by hand it could be taken for a week, yet it took only two days. The blades are so sharp like if it's given longer knife lifespan. Friendly, quick service. I will definitely buy a knife from them if I have an opportunity.

I am an enthusiastic amateur chef on level 75 in the analogue game of life. My son in law had some of Kin kitchen knives, and I shamelessly coveted them. For my birthday this year, in January, he got me a similar blade. Cutting vegetables gave me the same pleasure as when many years ago, I had sex for the first time. The sensation of using such a knife after the Mickey Mouse types I had been using was a heady pleasure. My partner has since bought me others, including a bread knife which would not look out of place hanging from the waistband of an actor in a Kurosawa film. Some may find the analogies sad.... and there may be iron in that belief . At 75 you take pleasure where you can. Thank you for the loving way they are wrapped and for the love that has been put into their crafting. Regards from sunny Spain.

There is not enough stars to rate these knives. Buy a medium quality knife and then buy a Kin knife! I guarantee the cheaper knife ends up at the back of a drawer. They are expensive but you get what you pay for, I will be replacing all mine with Kin as soon I can.
