The offer for the "loaf cake slice and a hot drink" is stated on the billboard at £1.50. Now I was charged £4.85. I challenged this at the cafe and said it was misleading that it was £1.50 off the total bill but was met with no response. When an offer is put out like that it should be clear to the customer what they are buying into and not manipulated and under represented when it comes to this offer. This offer is an example of False Advertisement and I feel like I've been robbed to be quite frank in this cost of living crisis we are all trying to live with. Deeply disappointed with Waitrose for not valuing there members!
