Receptionist booked me in for an appointment for a vaccine. When I arrived, the nurse had no idea what I was booked in for and proceeded to Google search the vaccine I had requested in front of me. She then told me she wasn’t qualified to give this vaccine and booked me in for the following day. When I arrived the next day, the nurse had to search the surgery for the vaccine whilst I waited for 20 mins. This same week I was booked in for a blood test and after 3 weeks still haven’t heard anything back from the surgery in regards to my results or prescriptions.

I was greeted by Usman with a smile, he was so polite and helpful. I could not have asked for more on a rainy day after my journey. He made me feel at ease. Doctor Almond who I saw was superb too, fine NHS care.

I would give it 0 stars if i could. The worst GP ever. The type that you request a letter to be written in August and keep coming until December and it still has not been done. They gave me a letter within the first 10 days yes but this letter was the notes from doctors appointments printed out and not what I requested! Imagine you ask for a letter and pay £20 and give a list of bullet points for the doctor to include and a lazy staff member prints out the notes from all your doctors appointments instead. How disappointing and lazy. I went in several times later to get the letter fixed but it took until December to finally get it. I just asked for a simple letter with my diagnosis and how it affects me. I even went on the phone to a doctor whilst he's supposed to have been writing the letter and the doctor did not write it during the phone call and when I went to collect it they told me to expect it by Friday which I have been told about 5 times since I requested it in August. They told me today they had no one on site to make my prescription and I should come tomorrow. But then when the pharmacist intervened to help it turned out there was someone on site and the prescription was made. The staff are ridiculously unorganised. I will be moving to another GP.
