Terrible experience with Khan Mather, changed solicitor half way through the process. Edit-when I say changed solicitor, I mean that I had to move my business elsewhere to another company as Khan Mather had jeopardised the house sale and I nearly lost the property. I had gone through at least 3 different solicitors within Khan Mather as they all kept leaving but that isn’t the reason for this review. I won’t go into all the details, but from my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

It has been directly due to the lack of response from KhanMather that has resulted in the loss of a house purchase. My own solicitor has been waiting for important documents since last October and, despite numerous emails and phone calls, requests were consistently ignored. After 7 months, the estate agent attempted to escalate the requests but still to no avail. Unfortunately, my mortgage offer expired due to the delay, causing me to lose the property. It also resulted in the loss of hundreds of pounds of solicitor and survey fees. To this date, neither myself nor my solicitor has received any explanation as to what happened. I would therefore not recommend this company to anyone looking to buy/sell a property as it has caused me huge emotional and financial stress.
