Updare: Nay 2023. Portion sizes have reduced at same orissa. Fruit Scones are stoll large and tasty. Large cafe attached to garden centre. Plenty of tables and comfortable seating. Bright and airy with large glass windows. Food is good quality but a little over priced. Service can be a little slow weekday lunchtimes. Main food ordering is at counter. Extra drinks and cakes can be ordered from table using QR Code that links to website on your mobile. Wraps hide smaller portions of fillings. Pastry of tarts can sometimes be hard. Sandwiches can be served with dry edges. This seems to vary by visit. Huge fruit scones available if you arrive early enough in day. Again quality varies with them sometimes being spongy. Good easy access. Disabled parking spaces near entrance.

I usually enjoy when I go to the cafe here as the food is very nice. But today I noticed flies landing on all the cakes. I brought this to the attention of the staff, only to be told it was because the doors were open and they were not allowed to cover the food. I find this appalling, in all other cafes food is kept in glass cupboards or under cloches so I do not know why this is so. I refrained from buying any of these and will not do so in the future. I know things can happen like this but to not even try to keep food clean is not right.
