What is your experience and qualifications as a private tutor?
As a company, Keystone Tutors only hires private tutors who have exceptional academic backgrounds and teaching experience. All our tutors have at least a 2:1 degree from a top UK university, and many have postgraduate qualifications as well. We also ensure that our tutors have extensive experience working with students at the level and in the subject they will be tutoring.How do you communicate with parents/guardians about the student's progress?
We prioritize communication with parents and guardians to ensure they are informed about their child's progress. Our tutors provide regular feedback after each session, and parents can also request progress reports. We are happy to communicate via phone, email, or video call, whichever is most convenient for the parent/guardian.What is your policy on cancellations or rescheduling of tutoring sessions?

I've just started tutoring with Keystone as a secondary level Mathematics tutor. The company is amazing to work with. Very professional, each job has a reasonable amount of applicants (unlike other platforms where there are 20+ tutors competing for a client) and their client management team ensures that each client has a dedicated manager the tutor can liaise with where required. They also have their own built in platform to log hours and organise lessons rather than using Tutor Cruncher. It's super simple and effective. I haven't seen another company/platform that operates to this level. Super impressed and excited to be working with Keystone as I transition from a full time teacher to tutoring privately.

Rishi allows you to attempt questions in Maths and once done, corrects your mistakes and clears up any misunderstanding that there was. I will be entering Eton College in September through the Orwell Award, a scholarship granted to those with potential to go to the next level. The sessions helped in strengthening my understanding of topics and covering up my weaknesses. It also helped in practicing exam questions so that I would get every mark possible.

I've had an overall fantastic experience with Keystone Tutors, in particular my (A Level Biology) tutor Kate. She is absolutely amazing! Our sessions were something I always looked forward to, even during the end of the week when I was completely tired. Kate was genuinely able to transform part of my A Level experience during my hectic Year 13 filled with questionable teaching. She has great communication skills and was very patient with me - she would have no problem repeating something to me multiple times and explaining it in different ways, using different examples until I understood it. She really helped me understand this already incredibly content-heavy subject on a deeper level, whilst improving my exam technique through an array of questions. I really enjoyed that fact that we were able to have normal, interesting and friendly conversations, not just relating to the biology work but current affairs and issues. I went from borderline failing (mostly due to lack of exam technique) to securing myself a strong pass :) I will be forever grateful for all of the hours she spent helping and encouraging me, all while instilling a greater sense of confidence in me! I would highly reccomend Kate, she is an exceptional tutor that you can't go wrong with and anyone would be lucky to have her :)
