When winning an item you need to get on to shipping right away as they are charging people for holding the items £5 per day. Thundering rumbles of buyers all over the uk think they are being unreasonable and the people at one delivery service said they were "good for business because the auction house is so unreasonable to their clients". In short, because they are isolated in Aylsham you need to think if you should consign to them (because if they are aggravating dealers, you might not get a good hammer price, regardless of the internet), and if you want to buy anything too. Bishop & Miller are on the A14 and friendly - they also have a posh new showroom in Glandford near Holt. Cheffins and Sworders are more professional too.

Great service from Emily and the team at Keys Auctioneers. I purchased an item of jewellery by means of the Keys online live bidding facility, a simple process to register and bid. The invoice promptly arrived following the sale. Upon payment of the invoice, the item was promptly sent by recorded delivery. Upon receipt of the item, I found it exactly matched the auctioneers description. In summary, I extremely impressed with the professional service provided and have no hesitation in recommending Keys 🙂

Friendliest Auction House I have dealt with. Very polite and friendly, and quick to reply to emails. They provide item packaging for £10. I am very pleased with their customer service, especially to Emily who was dealing with my requests. Highly recommend.

Took funds from card without prior reference. Then Lost the item. The bare minimum of an apology for the loss from a minion and no explanation from a director despite my request for one. Rude and unprofessional behaviour. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Bought and sold many items in the past but not anymore. Bid and won on some pictures, admittedly without seeing them in person. The online photo only showed one of the five pictures. This picture was just about OK. When they were picked up I found all the pictures to be unusable and stained. Basically they put the best one in front and hid the other ones behind. Basically deceitful. Tried complaining at .the reception but got a rude reply.

Paid for pictures on line, for which i pay a premium ,collected them, all apart from the one that was used to advertise them, were badly stained, tried to get a refund was told no, so basically sold by deceit.

I sold two successful lots with keys with no issues but after that it was just a headache. Lack of information, lack of communication, wasted journeys, items which I watched sell live then to be told they didn't sell with no explanation but still charged fees. Reserves placed on items when I had specifically requested no reserves meaning no sales but still charged fees. Item held for months and not put into an auction. I then contacted them to complain, had a really nice email back saying they would look into it, received a payment back for 'some' of the failures but despite two follow up emails, no further contact received from them. Very very disappointing experience and will not use again or recommend to anyone.
