What do we want from a photographer on our wedding day? Well I wanted someone who got how important certain moments were to me... I wanted someone who was going to communicate the energy of the day. I wanted someone who could quietly get on with telling our story. Well, I got all that from Kevin. The result is I now have around 300 images printed and temporarily stuck to my fridge door because I can't figure out which ones I want to print big... they are so many to choose from. Yes there are a lot of photographers to choose from out there... but actually, when it comes down to it... on your wedding day, you want to surround yourself with decent, good, kind suppliers who care about your story beyond the 10 hours they give you on the day and with whom you can have a real connection, human to human.

I started shooting weddings about 4-5 years ago. With little confidence and very little awareness of the wedding industry. I signed up to a year's 1-2-1 with him and since then, I regularly top up my CPD with portfolio reviews to make sure I provide my customers with the best possible service. As a mentor, Kevin is patient, constructive, very generous with his time and always on point. In the period of 5 years, I have built a solid photography business with a solid platform with a predicted turnover of £60-70k this financial year. This has happened because I have put in an insane amount of work in, absolutely, but it has also happened because Kev gave me an excellent platform from which to evolve. I avoided many teething problems thanks to him and still now, his advice enables me to approach my work with a healthy business acumen but also with kindness and integrity towards my customers and with passion towards my craft. You want to get into wedding photography? Don't invest all your money in gear. Invest it in learning. And most importantly, invest in a learning with someone who you can trust and who empowers you to fulfil your potential.

He was unobtrusive, in fact we hardly knew he was there, but captured the essence of our wedding perfectly. What an eye Me and my now wife Vicki choose Kevin to be our wedding photographer after seeing some of his previous work. When choosing a wedding photographer we didn't want the traditional posed photos as that really wasn't us. What was more important to us was to capture special moments and peoples expressions so we can look back at the photos and feel like its a time warp right back to the day. Well to say that Kevin nailed the brief would be an understatement. The photos he captured for us are amazing and soo special for us we really can't stop looking at them. On the day he is incredibly stealthy and you don't ever feel like he is there. We can't recommend him enough, he captured such special moments for us that we will cherish for ever.
