Paid parking at a hospital makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. People aren't intentionally hanging out at hospitals, they are there to support family that are in need. By all means validate that each user is using the parking for the hospital and not just parking there to go somewhere else, but its such a snide money grabbing ploy. All car parks in the UK for hospitals should be free.

I had accident with the garden shears, on arrival the receptionist lady was very pleasant and professional. Went through to the nurse and again excellent service and so so professional, lady took me through to the minor accident and emergency I was waiting all of ten minutes if that and i got called in, again very friendly nurse, very professional and compassionate. These 3 ladies made my visit very pleasant. Thank you! Ur hard work does not go unrecognised.

Just a disaster. I had my newborn under a treatment and they needed blood count so the specialists from London can keep an eye on the cancer cells and liver. These tests are very important as we need to make sure that either we stop the treatment or increase the dose. The first blood test apparently the lab made a mistake so no blood count at all. The second time AGAIN the lab did not do the lab count. Now - I’m actually concern that either is the doctor request very poor or the lab people can’t actually read the request or do their job. It’s just so ridiculous is unbelievable. The other issue with this hospital is that I came with my newborn at 7 o clock in the morning at emergency due to some eye infection. We waited 2.5 hours to be seen because our case wasn’t emergency although the emergency room was EMPTY - no one was waiting for emergency - maybe too early for them to do the checks, maybe the coffee hasn’t kicked in yet…. We also had to wait for their doctors to do their shift swap and I had to wait outside the emergency room in cold with the other twin. The staff members at the reception which clearly were the nurses and midwives were very rude, patronising and condescending. No empathy - no professional. Their appalling behaviour has got nothing to do with lack of staff or their salaries. Outrageous behaviour and yeah no point to complain to their manager, hospital or PALS as they are doing NOTHING. They are all friends and let’s face it who will say anything to these people when the country is in need of NHS staff.

I cannot praise the endoscopy staff enough for the treatment and care I received recently. Thank you each and everyone of you and in particular I would like to mention Shannon. Her kind, bubbly, cheerful personality. Dawn x

Shockingly bad experience after being rushed to A&E after being in a car crash and then stuck on a ward for 14 hours surrounded by old dying people with nurses who seemed more interested in gossiping amongst eachother rather than caring for anyone. Asked numerous times for something to eat and all I got was a jug of water, I think prisoners receive better treatment. Never in my life have I ever seen or experienced such bad treatment from so-called health care professionals. And the state of the place looks like nothing ever gets cleaned only the floors, I feel sorry for anyone who ends up in this nightmare of a hospital, something serious needs to change or just shut the place down, shocking that a hospital like this exists in England

Over the past 11 days I have two visits to the Miami ward and two days in Ashton ward to fix my broken leg. The care, attention and professional conduct of every member of staff has been superb. Considering how poorly these staff are treated by the government it is amazing how they motivate themselves day after day. Thank you all for efforts, guidance and advice.
