Introduction to Kentish Pip Cider

Kentish Pip Cider is a family-owned business that started in 2012 when the founders decided to turn their apple orchard into a cider mill. They wanted to create a unique product that would showcase the flavors of their apples and the local terroir. Kentish Pip Cider is unique because they use only 100% fresh pressed juice from their apples, which are grown in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. They are dedicated to preserving the traditional methods of cider making while also experimenting with new and innovative techniques.

Services & Products

Kentish Pip Cider offers a range of ciders, from their classic Still Cider to their more experimental Hop Cider. They also produce a range of limited edition ciders, such as their Elderflower Cider and their Brut Cider. In addition to their ciders, they also offer a range of merchandise, such as t-shirts and glasses, and they have a farm shop where customers can purchase local produce.

FAQ

How is your cider produced?

Our cider is produced using a blend of hand-picked apples from our own orchard and other local farms. The apples are washed, crushed, and pressed using traditional methods to extract the juice. The juice is then fermented using natural yeasts, and aged in oak barrels to develop its unique flavor.

Can visitors see the cider-making process at your mill?

Yes, visitors are welcome to see the cider-making process at our mill. We offer guided tours of our orchard and cider mill, where visitors can see the apples being pressed and the cider being fermented and aged. We also have a tasting room where visitors can sample our ciders and other products.

How do you distribute and sell your products, and where can I purchase them?

We distribute and sell our ciders through a variety of channels, including our farm shop, online store, and wholesale partners. Our ciders are available for purchase at our farm shop, as well as at select retailers and restaurants throughout the UK. Customers can also order our ciders online and have them delivered to their doorstep.

What is your pricing structure and do you offer any discounts or packages for multiple projects?

Our pricing structure varies depending on the product and quantity ordered. We offer a range of ciders at different price points to suit different budgets. We also offer discounts and packages for larger orders or repeat customers. Customers can contact us directly for more information on pricing and discounts.

What kind of equipment and software do you use for production?

We use a combination of traditional and modern equipment for cider production, including apple crushers, presses, and oak barrels for aging. We also use a variety of software tools for managing our inventory, sales, and marketing efforts. Our team is constantly evaluating and updating our equipment and software to ensure we are producing high-quality ciders efficiently and effectively.

Staff in the barn were very slow and there were 15 min queues for drinks. Several of the beers and wines advertised had run out by 2pm. Disappointing, as otherwise the outdoor area is very pleasant.

Great outdoor pub. You can sit indoors as well but on a lovely sunny day who wants to do that. Dog friendly too. Great selection of ale's and ciders, good food too.

Don’t bother placing an order online, I paid for next day delivery but it still hasn’t arrived, I’ve sent numerous emails and left voicemails to call me back but have had no response, I can’t even request a refund because I can’t get hold of anyone to speak to….really poor service

Do not bother ordering anything online from them. I paid £5.99 for delivery and when my item was broken and I contacted them on several occasions they would not come back to me. I was really disappointed as I bought the gift as a Christmas present. I would not waste your money on this company, very unprofessional.
