What a gem of a place. Had a fantastic time taking my seven year old for a children’s owl experience. The staff were great, especially Syl and Nick. The owls were adorable, and it was so special to get some one on one time with them and to finish off a special day with Dusk the owl flying to her arm. Recommend thoroughly. We will return.

Our Owl Experience at the Kent Owl Academy was amazing and so very memorable. My daughter was allowed to choose up to 3 owls she would like to hold and got to spend a whole hour learning about these different owls whilst holding them. Then, she was allowed to fly and feed a barn owl for the final 30 minutes. The volunteer staff members, Ed and Silvia, were extremely knowledgeable and made the experience fun and very interesting, answering all our questions and explaining all about the different owls and their habitats. We were completely at ease and enjoyed the experience, which felt very exclusive and special as we were behind the scenes with the staff and were allowed to fly the barn owl without an audience. We were allowed to take as many photos as we liked and came away with very special memories. We highly recommend the Kent Owl Academy. It was also very good value for money

The Kent Owl Academy is situated within Kent Life Heritage Museum Park but operates independently. Their Owl Experience is totally captivating for children and animals and you feel privileged to be in such close proximity with such beautiful creatures. The KOA team are young but extremely knowledgeable and professional they made sure we all got time with the lovely owls and taught us about their habits. Wonderful experience for families- highly recommended

My sons and I visited the Kent Owl Academy today for the meet the meerkats experience. It was such a brilliant experience, hand feeding the meerkats, who are all very friendly. We were even lucky enough to meet the baby meerkats who were adorable. The animals were very well looked after and seemed very happy. The volunteers were all very friendly and informative. A very memorable and special experience, thank you!
