We have used Kent Property Management for over 15 years to manage our properties and they have always been incredibly helpful. Friendly personal service. It is such a relief to be able to pick up the phone and talk to a person instead of being directed to a landlord portal!

If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely shocking service, travelled from Chelmsford to view a property only to be told less then 45 mins before that it had been taken, they should state it's first come first serve rather then take on multiple applicants. They should look towards a name change from Kent management to ku*t management. Avoid at all costs as previous reviews also state. As useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.

I've been renting with Kent property for nearly 3 years now and they've never been anything other than amazing. I read through some of these reviews and can't imagine what's occurred because I've neve known such a good agency. The office staff are all friendly, hard-working and take time to work out what's happening with the property. You really feel a level of service an support from Kent and I am happy to give them 5 stars for all that they do.

DO NOT RENT WITH KENT AGENCY. I was living in a property managed by Kent from September 2021-July 2022. They are a VERY terrible agency, if you are thinking of renting with Kent, do yourself a favour and go with a private landlord or another agency otherwise you WILL lose a lot of money and you will gain a series of migraines from their bad service and incompetencies. I lost almost £300 from my deposit because of their incompetency and lack of initiative. They are VERY sneaky and will try to add on extra costs here and there. They ignore important emails and pretend they never got them. They also sent out wrong information about our tenancy to the electric company, leading us to a £100 loss. Not to mention, mould developed in my bedroom and it resulted in my asthma coming back. The agency took almost 2 months to sort it out and did not deem it to be an emergency. They only have 1 handyman for a bunch of properties so when something needed fixing, it would take at LEAST 1 month until it is repaired. We had mould downstairs by the door and it was not sorted out during the entire time I lived there. My friends who lived in the house before also complained about the front door which was unsafe, and it took them about a year to fix. The list of their incompetencies goes on. Please be careful and don’t make the same mistake that I did. I would give them -5 stars if I could.

AVOID! We had so many issues living there that we should have sought legal representation for - slug infestation (it got to the point where we were finding them in the cutlery drawer), ant infestation, removing our bath panelling and leaving a gaping hole... We received no help, and when we requested direct communication with the landlord, our request was denied. At the end of the tenancy, the landlord opted to keep a huge amount of our deposit for what was essentially routine maintenance (or a result of us not being given a hoover). When we finally received contact from him, we brought up all the issues that we suffered over the tenancy, he complained he had no documentation of these issues, stating that he "can only assume (our comments on the way in which the tenancy was conducted) are only being made at this time because of the deductions being proposed" - a charming accusation. Either the landlord knew about these issues and simply opted to ignore them to evade responsibility, or Kent Management simply never communicated our issues to him, which is their *entire* responsibility. The lack of communication granted between the tenants, agency, and landlord is appalling, and it is very clear that they do not care about their student tenants in the slightest. As first-time renters, we feel thoroughly taken advantage of. Basically we would not recommend renting with them if you value not being scammed or the luxury of not stepping on a slug in your own bedroom.
