Got one fireplace and log burner after having extention in dining room had a smaller log burner fitted into chimney breast absolutely brilliant but had an issue with the render but over a year out of warranty but they came back repaired over a couple of days due to letting everything drying out no charge brilliant would recommend and knowledge is very helpful

The Kent Fireplace Company installed a fireplace in our house in 2004. We have been extremely happy with it and the quality of the work done. Over the years the fireplace and hearth have moved noticeably. The movement seemed to be more pronounced than you would expect from normal thermal movement. I contacted the company and sent photos. They immediately diagnosed that the damp proof course in the structural hearth had been breached causing the hearth and fireplace to move. They had to remove the fireplace, dig out the old structural hearth, install a mew damp proof course, replace some floor timbers and reinstate the hearths and fireplace. They did a thoroughly professional job which was done in the time frame agreed at a reasonable cost. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
