Michelle and her team do amazing work here. My autistic son began his sessions when he was struggling with life in general. It gave him a reason to get out of the house and time spent in such a calm and supportive atmosphere every week really helped him, even when it was cold and wet! He is now doing so much better and is looking forward to coming back for a visit when it stops raining :)

My son has been going to Michelle’s group for about 6 months. He experiences anxiety and anger. Prior to joining Michelle’s group he had been seeing a counsellor for over a year with little positive change for him, and he was suffering. From the first session with Michelle He began to change, he is calmer and much less anxious. He is excited to attend as often as he can. I cannot thank Michelle enough for the positive impact on his outlook and well-being. Thank you

A place to find your inner self. I found myself at the Kent Equine Facilitated Learning Center on many occasions. From the moment of arrival you are made to feel welcome by Michelle.. I have attended both for myself and my grandson, my grandson has Autism as well as ADHD and social anxiety. He felt so at ease with both Michelle and the horses, getting close enough to brush and even hug the horses. And that was on the first occasion. I have attended a couple of the courses and well being days. My own experience when I get out of my car and arrive at the centre I switch off of anything else that I have going on. Take in the lovely energy of the horses, sounds of the countryside and I am concentrating on me and only me. Michelle is such a spiritual person who helps you find your inner self and work on getting rid of those demons. The well-being days are such a fantastic day out for all the family. As well as lots of different stalls to browse around there are the fantastic workshops to try. Anything from soundbowls to balance procedure and adult play. I can't wait until the next event in July. Thank you Michelle and team xxx

My son has SEN with emotional difficulties and has been attending KEFL for almost 2 years. Michelle Budd has worked wonders on him and his thoughts/feelings, established him connecting with the horses and assisted him in regulating how he feels and not letting others affect emotional scale too. My son enjoys his time with Michelle and her herd and gets involved in all yard duties whilst talking about what maybe troubling him. KEFL is a beyond brilliant counselling/therapy service and has done the world of good for my son and our family as a whole. I couldn’t recommend them any higher. Small groups enable social interactions and friendship building, something my son often can find challenging. Michelle’s I CAN DO IT approach, has boosted his confidence so much and we are very very grateful for all she manages to do with the young people (and adults) that she works with.
