Do not book this company.! They failed to actually train my dog after 3 weeks of supposed residential training and returned to me a dog completely untrained! I complained and was left with no feasible solution to the problem, also refusing to issue any refund. Appalling! On top of this, while in their care, they consistently underfed, harmed, injured and neglected my dog in allowing him to be attacked and, leaving me with the vet bills. And now they refuse to refund any money and act with dishonesty. Run for the hills!

Really happy with the service. Sue came to our house to help with our 5 month old beagle puppy and instantly formed a great bond with the animal, in a "leader of the pack" way. Sue has passed on her wealth of knowledge to us, which we will be using for our dog and all future pets. I would highly recommend this service to not only first time dog owners, but also those who believe they are able to control/train their dogs... I bet Sue can help! Definitely a work in progress with our dog, which Sue told us to expect, however, after the initial 2 hours with Sue, Koko (the puppy) is already better behaved!

It was with a great deal of apprehension and soul searching that I finally decided to send my 4 year old miniature labradoodle Hector on a residential course with Julie. His anxiety and fear aggression with people and in particular with other dogs meant that I was just not enjoying walks with him and I realised I needed to do something before the problem escalated. I felt that Julie really understood my predicament from the moment I spoke to her on the phone - and I was reassured from that moment on that sending him to Julie for 2 weeks the right thing for both Hector and I. Julie and her son Alfie put me at ease when they came to collect Hector - and he happily set off with them for his residential training. Julie was brilliant and let me know how the journey went and how he was settling in on the first night. Every single day Hector was with Julie and her family I had videos and messages letting me know how Hector was doing and explaining the processes of her training. It was such a relief to see him literally improving day by day - especially with Julie's 2 dogs. Hector has now been home a couple of days and the improvement in him is dramatic. Walking through a busy town centre on Saturday - with lots of people, dogs and even pigeons - was brilliant - a loose lead, a dog to heel and no negative reactions to anything. I cannot thank Julie and her family enough - and although it seemed daunting at the time - sending Hector away to her was the best thing I could have done for both of us. It was great to see how much Julie meant to Hector as well - i knew he had been well looked after. I would thoroughly recommend Julie and her residential training - we could not be happier with the results.

I would HIGHLY recommend Kent Dog Training, and in particular Stephen. Stephen was so calm and intuitive with Mona, who was fearful of men due to background issues. Very experienced and knowledgeable on all things animal related and not only gave me great training tips and skills for a 4 year old rescue, but also helped with nutrition and playtime ideas for Mona. The report arrived within 24 hours and was a very detailed read with lots of interesting information to digest and put into practice. Since the training session, Stephen has been in regular contact and a great help to curb any unwanted behaviours quickly. I could not recommend this training business highly enough, and at such great prices also. Mona is looking forward to meeting Stephen's dog for a run around outside!

We found Kent Dog Training as we wanted a local trainer to help us with our 9 month old rescue Dalmador, Dexter. Julie was brilliant (despite problems with having to rearrange twice because of lockdown) and we had a great socially-distant training session in our local park. She immediately bonded with Dexter and gave us lots of hints and tips to get him to have better recall and generally be happier with training. Highly recommended - and it's great to know that we have Julie's support for the whole time we've got Dexter.
