Rented a hybrid normal bike from here. Chain came off while cycling, bell wasn't working properly, and there was one other issue I can't remember. Gear changes weren't as smooth as I expected. Main gears Gear 5 didn't work and Gear 7 made the chain come off. The other gears And the other gear thing that went up to gear 3... Number 2 wouldn't work (on the other gear thing) unless I went to number 3 first, than back to 2. Bike too large and hit me in my sack whenever I stood up. The seat at one point dropped by itself gradually while I was cycling. Tire pressure too high for gravel trail on crab and winkle + the wildart trail. The bikes should be serviced properly and only then should they be handed over. Price is insane. It is far too high. You can rent cycles in Switzerland for far less. Staff are not that friendly. I've attached the price list as it is as of November 2022.

Great customer service, easy, and reasonable price. We biked to Whitstable from Canterbury and parked our bikes at their shop downtown. It was a perfect day and the bikes were in great condition. They even give you a map that sits on your handlebars so you don't get lost.

Such a a great experience! Really friendly service in both Whitstable and Canterbury stores, absolutely enjoyed the Crab & Winkle Way ride to Canterbury. The bikes were in great condition and wonderful to ride. Definitely be back again to try the coastal route to Reculver. 100% recommend! :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. However, the equipments are good enough for going around in town but not so much for a trail, at least with a baby. I specified to get a low step bicycle but it wasn't. My toddler is 18 months and tends to fall asleep but the seat isn't suitable for younger toddler, too big and very up right. I managed by waging my baby with nappies and carrying a backpack high on top of my back as it wasn't possible to fit in back side paniers.
