Collected some block pavers, got to the job, and noticed that they were not all alike. And once I started looking, they looked like a pile of 2nds and mismatches. When I went to return them, the lass said they are natural. And there would be a 10% restocking charge. Could not be bothered to tell her they are man made. Fine, just take them and give me my money. I know as much as my fault for not checking them in the 1st place. Fuel, unhappy clients, and a weekend work lost. Live and learn. Still at the age of 50+.
