Hugely accommodating and generous in spirit Kennedy Woods provided our Interior students at the CASS School of Architecture + Design a wonderful introduction to the vibrant and colourful Bussey building where their office is based and where our academic design project for the year is sited. The students will be looking at ways in which they can engage the local community to the Bussey and further cement its presence in Peckham. Tom and his team offered a valuable insight to their design practices, professional approach and range of design projects. It was wonderful to see the scope of projects and hear about the team’s focus on community concerns. Fantastic to work with Tom and Chris who helped create a dream dining table for my partner and I. The process from start to finish was fairly long as it involved sourcing timber from old canal lock gates, however we felt kept up to date at all times and never left feeling like we weren't getting value for money. It was 100% worth the wait. There were several visits at both KWA studio in the Bussey Building as well as the workshop of the carpenter they used to build the table.
