Great that we have a recycling centre and the staff are fantastic and helpful. The queueing system is terrible, creating long and unnecessary bottlenecks.

Turned up on a Friday lunchtime and the site was closed while a truck moved the containers around. I sat in an unmoving queue for ages and eventually had to give up because I had to get back to work. I'm pretty irritated that my entire lunch hour was wasted and I now have to factor in another trip. If you need to close the site for maintenance then why not schedule it into your timetable? If it says the site is open then it should be open.

It says they open on a Sunday at 8:00 but it 8:20 now and still waiting for gates to open. Not a great way to start the day. A lorry turned up at 8:00 which is probably why but if that's the case then say you open at 8:30 instead. Once you are in the queue there is nowhere to turn around to leave and we have a big queue behind us now. They opened dead on 8:30. Lorry still in there moving things around so that wasn't the reason. No apology when they did open. Their attitude stinks quite frankly. Very poor service. Get your opening hours updated online if you have no intention of opening on time.

Well laid out area for disposing of your waste items, with skips & areas for fridges & electric stuff. There can sometimes be a long wait while they uplift full skips as they close the yard to do so. Oh, don't take a van unless you have a permit.
