Really wanted fish and chips, heard good things.... so good, proper old school fish and chips freshly made, no fuss. Brought back so many memories of my darling papa sending me to the fish and chip shop to get lunches. Good portions and lovely friendly people.

Had to try this place after reading about it in Jay rayner's book. i was not disappointed. By far the best fish and chips i've tried in london, and fish and chips wrapped separately to keep crispy. bear in mind it is cash only.

Cod and chips was pretty nice. The fish was definitely better than the chips - crisp outside and tender inside. The chips were a bit oily and not as crunchy as I like. The tartare sauce was pretty average - tasted more like mayo and was a bit sour. Overall this is pretty good quality for London
