Lovely building spoilt by stoopy and unhappy women librarians, the slightest thing you say seems to annoy them!

This is a large and old fashioned library in the heart of this busy town. The downstairs area is huge and spacious and there are staff on hand to assist you, newspapers and plenty of internet computers. Upstairs there is an impressive research room, reference library and display area. Although it looks dated and a bit bland inside this is a gem of a library.

Today I visited the library for the first time, to go to a free craft session. I was very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful building, range of books and mine of information available. Upstairs is a huge archive room, with hundreds of vintage books and books written by local authors. It really deserves to be better used. customers whilst I was there
