i attended the keep a beat class last night due to recently having a baby, i have worked in care for seven years & in the whole time i’ve been taught first aid or basic life support i have only came across one other company who have been up to the standards of keep a beat. joanne was so welcoming & friendly & full of interesting knowledge. she is also a midwife which for any new mum helps ease the anxiety of the person who’s teaching knows how you feel etc. she spoke about number of different subjects that we could come into contact with, for example; burns, chocking & different ways we can make food safe for our children when weaning etc, she also went through cpr. we also got a demonstration & had to ability to practice on our own annie doll she provided face coverings for the dolls so we could share & everything was cleaned between demonstrations. she also brings first aid kits & other things we may need to help that you can purchase at the end the overall experience was brilliant & I’d definitely recommend anyone to attend the course.

Joanne gave us a very informative class on baby and toddler first aid. Followed by some general advice on meningitis, burns and head bumps. It was a great evening and very useful. Thank you

I undertook the child first aid training in November 2022. The training was excellent: clear; practical and informative. The trainer, Joanne, was excellent in every way. Where individuals needed extra time or input it was given. The group size was small, five in total. The venue was great. I cannot speak highly enough of this course, and of Joanne because I needed to use what I was taught a few weeks later to provide emergency first aid.

Fantastic informative first aid course! My husband and I attended to learn some first aid in preparation for our baby due in about a months time. Joanne our instructor was ever so friendly, informative and approachable. We both felt immediately at ease in the class and I hope to return at a later date with my mum to get her clued up on some essential first aid. Many thanks!

I really enjoyed this training as it was both informal and informative and the trainer was confident in her delivery. There was no such thing as a “silly question” and I believe this was helped by having a female trainer for first aid which was a first for me. Thank you.
