Had our kitchen window replaced for French doors in spring 2021 and had endless problems at the time with having open cavities for 6weeks due to awful plastering and uneven fitting. We thought all was sorted and fitted correctly to find that we are now getting awful damp around the doors. We have had this checked by an independed builder and there is no issue with the pointing outside. Raised the issue with KB at the beginning of February and they sent someone round to complete and report and I have heard nothing since despite sending an email and calling to chase.

KB Glass took over Coastline Windows and Conservatories. Coastline had carried out a contract for me under their 10-year guarantee. I contacted Mr Michael Trewin, MD of KB Glass, well within the guarantee period to request a small rectification to be done under the terms of the guarantee but he flatly refused to honour the guarantee of his subsidiary company even though it was still operating as Coastline Windows and Conservatories at the time of my request. I would suggest, therefore, that any guarantee offered by KB Glass in respect of its work or products should be viewed with caution.
