I chanced upon Katherine quite by luck as I contacted her (excellent ) curtain fitter Chris to measure my existing curtains from my previous house to see whether they would work in my new one and fit them if possible. We live overseas much of the time but Katherine and Chris were able to come round despite the pre Christmas rush. Between them they make a first rate team with Chris providing top notch technical advice and Katherine leading on the aesthetic side. Having bought and sold our previous house within a short space of time, and had various curtains and blinds made for that, I was pretty clued up about the process and my fabric likes. Quite aside from the lovely end result throughout the house, I’d heartily recommend Katherine for dealing with awkward bay windows. The suggestion for dealing with them ended up looking great as well as blocking out the light. Most of our communication was done via email with samples sent to me in France. Some of the decisions I was happy to leave largely to Katherine with minimum or no input from me (curtain poles, privacy blinds). I knew I was in excellent hands and was not let down. Katherine also came up with some fabric suggestions from smaller fabric houses I’d never come across and which were real winners. Despite me having to drag out the work due to other work which needed to be done on the house and availability of workmen, Katherine was extremely patient. She also makes super curtains and blinds which I think are very good value. I would recommend Katherine wholeheartedly.
