RENTER BEWARE I never post reviews on Google but feel I have to as Kasia Cleaning Services come recommended by Centrick Property Birmingham and tenants need to be made aware! Despite being the recommended cleaner for end of tenancy cleaning by Centrick, they apparently do not deal with tenants direct but it is not something they say upfront or on their website. I'm sure their cleaning services are great but unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to experience this even though I was keen to engage with them to ensure I got the deposit back from the letting agent. Kasia Cleaning Services: bailed on me twice to come and get a quote; they left me waiting for answers; they changed their prices on several occasions (all would have been avoided if they had provided a quote in the first place); and they were not confident in their answers to my questions which made me doubt their legitimacy. However, as my letting agent's cleaner of choice I felt like I had no choice but to continue. After two weeks of negotiating they agreed to come and clean the flat but extremely disappointingly they cancelled after agreeing a price TWO days before they were due to come and clean and THREE days before our tenancy ended leaving very little time to find a replacement cleaner - I believe this to be because I was asking too many questions like why their prices kept changing (I'm not stupid!). They then proceeded to provided backchat in emails when I said I'd let the letting agent know about my experience with them given they were recommending their services to tenants. As tenants we try our best to do the right thing and appease the landlord to try to get full deposits back but we really are at their whim. Yes Kasia Cleaning Services may have asked who my landlord was, but I did not answer as I did not see the relevance of this question/ was wary of answering it as it seemed like the answer I provided would dictate the quote or pricing they were going to propose. In the end glad I did not hand over £200 to Kasia Cleaning Services (yes that is right £200 for a one bed, one bathroom, one carpet flat- daylight robbery!) as they made moving out an absolute nightmare and caused more stress than it was ever worth! All in all a very disappointing experience. IN RESPONSE TO KASIA CLEANING'S REPLY TO MY REVIEW: You did not ask me 3 times who my landlord was- you asked me once and then told me via email you do not deal with tenants. Direct quote "it’s good to know it’s Centrick as they know that we don’t do any more work directly for their tenants". You never once "tried to explain you that every Agent has different requirements when it comes to end of tenancy cleaning and we need to get in contact with your agent to get some more information." so please do not lie. Also in my emails you told me carpet cleaning was £30 but that changed to £50. (Direct quote 11th October 'Carpets £30 per room.' which changed in your email 17th October direct quote 'cost £50 on the top.') I was prepared to pay £180 and even accepted paying £200 when the price changed and gave you the opportunity to confirm the price of it all as up until this point there had been not proper quote given. I was not trying to trip you up, I genuinely had lost track of what price you were expecting me to pay. But yet you took the decision to cancel. You told me at 09.50 on 17th October that you did not want to clean the flat that you were due to clean at 08.00 on 19th October. That is less than 48hrs and as far as I and other tenants concerned is not enough time to engage the services of another cleaner given most do not work at weekends. As far as I am concerned you did everything wrong so fully deserve 1 star. FURTHER UPDATE: On writing this review I have received a snotty text message from Daniel to my personal mobile which is a breach of privacy and personal data. They have tried to explain that they are not cowboys. Apparently the onus is on me because I did not confirm who my landlord was... at no point was it made clear that this was a requirement.

Great cleaning company. I work for a letting agent based predominantly in Gloucestershire with a small portfolio of properties around Birmingham and we can always count on Kasia Cleaning for all of our end of the tenancy and pre- tenancy cleaning. It is important to us, to have a trustworthy cleaning contractor bacause our office is out of the area and Kasia Cleaning always put our minds at ease. They are reliable, accommodating, have competitive prices but most importantly their cleaning standards are very high. End of Tenancy cleaning I wanted to clean the apartment for end of tenancy and I was recommended Kasia's cleaning. They delivered an excellent cleaning service to exceptional standard that my agent was looking for and left everywhere spotless. The service included professional carpet cleaning and job was finished within half day without any hassle.
