Really poor. Started off badly with the "pickle tray" which was four miniscule dishes HALF FULL of basic pickle. My main course was foul. Absolutely SWIMMING in grease. Even my egg rice had an INCH of grease in the bottom of the dish. This abomination came to over fifty pounds, and we were then told that you can only pay cash or bank transfer. I couldn't get out of there quickly enough. Horrible and greasy. Just don't bother.

My partner and have only recently moved to the area and were looking forward to trying Kashmiri Aroma after reading the good reviews. We ordered two poppadoms, a naan, a chapati, pilau rice, samosa chaat and two curries to take away. The total cost was around £35.50 and it was arguably the most disappointing curry I have had in my life. The sauces were thin and watery and lacked any real flavour, the lamb was dry, the chicken was rubbery, the naan had patches of raw dough, the chaat was overly sloppy and soggy….the only thing that was okay were the poppadoms. We had a mouthful of each dish and it sadly went straight into the bin. We’re now still hungry and feeling like we have wasted our money. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but we definitely will not be returning. Disappointed.

Wow, Simply amazing!! Was Staying in Ilkley and looked for places to eat ,after reading the reviews for this restaurant thought let's give it a go. Pleasantly surprised buffet offered a wide selections of dishes. Asked for chicken liver and the waiter went out of their way to accommodate even though it was not one of the dishes on the buffet. We had specially made chicken liver and tandoori rotis. We arrived around 8pm so by time I was ready for dessert the tables had been cleared! Bless the staff saw the disappointment on my face and brought out a few plates selections of desserts back to our table with desi karak chai! My husband mentioned that it was my birthday and gosh my embarrassment had a lovely birthday song played and cake! Overall truly great experience,amazing staff and delicious food, a must visit!!! Thank you to all the staff for looking after us! We will definitely be visiting again soon!
