So far as an owner I have been disappointed by their slow response and refusal to acknowledge evidence of damage that IS classed as damage in their own policy docs. I had already recorded any damage on the platform at sign up with pictures, so new damage appearing at the return of my second rental and photos sent as evidence they are completely ignoring and refuting. They are obviously not using their common sense here with the evidence submitted, or just trying to be shady in customer service.

I took a rental and the car had Machanic problems I contacted Karshare and they literally didn’t care. And told me I still need to pay for my rental even if the car is faulty. And then I was refunded 1/4 of the rental fee. Don’t rent from KARSHARE

KarShare is a massive joke. Most disorganised company I've ever dealt with. My car was abused by everyone who rented it. And leaving the platform has been absolutely panful and costly. When my car was damaged by renters KarShare did nothing to help solve the problems. Renting my car on KarShare cost me more than it earned me.

Look elsewhere. Glad I’m not the only one who has realised Cherie Slaughter is an absolute pain and also a liar. She has turned me away from using Karshare services and charging me fees because supposedly I was given a deadline to install the box into my car (so i could rent my car on their platform) wish I was wasn’t and I have proof of that . I had made it very clear my car was in for repairs and couldn’t give an exact return date just yet meaning it was difficult to book the installation appointment. So instead of being patient she has rejected me from using Karshare all together and I am no longer welcome to join their platform. Can you actually imagine? Unfairly treating potential customers seems like a really good business model -_- Yes I had to postpone the installation appointment a few times and that is because the workshop told me my car would be ready by a certain day just to be told they needed another week to return it. However its not over there folks .. another bonehead move was made by Cherie.. on the recent Karshare booking confirmation for the installation it said “give 24hrs notice to cancel appointment” I gave well over 24 hours notice just to be told by Cherie - oh no sorry the email was meant to say 48 hours and you now have to pay £100 fee. Good one. Customer service absolutely useless as well.
