I had classical guitar lessons with Karl for just under 3 years. He’s a fantastic teacher, gave me the confidence to play, and encouraged me along the way. He could tell when I’d failed to practice between lessons but was always good about it and politely nudged me to practice more so I could become a better player. My lessons only stopped because I moved out of the area. I would highly recommend Karl as a guitar teacher to anyone wanting to learn to play, young or old. It’s never too late to do something you love.

I was a student of Karl Taylor for around 11 years and had a fantastic experience at every step of the way. Right from preliminary to achieving grade 8, lessons were always focused and efficient, and instilled a great approach to learning. I was encouraged to enter competitions and ended up winning twice at the grade 7 and 8 Ramsbottom music festivals - thanks to wonderful teaching - which gave me huge confidence as a musician, and shaped me as a person in an extremely positive way.
