Carl I
Fabulous hats. I have recently developed a penchant for caps, partly attributable to my (rapidly) diminishing hairline and walking the dog in cold weather. Slightly reluctant to buy over the web without trying on, but the ability to return the cap, either for a refund or different size gave me comfort. Measured head size and was careful not to get the tape too tight or loose, and happy to say it is perfect. Really nice design and fits very well compared to other caps I have. Extremely well (hand) made; made in the UK, with UK fabric also. The construction is far better than my other caps, and the difference in the way it fits is very noticeable. But very pricy compared to some alternatives - I was lucky I managed to get the flat cap I wanted on sale. Would I buy one at full price? Yes, now that I have seen the quality, I think it is worth it, and I would expect a cap to last pretty much for life. Designs are great and unique, although I'm not bothered about having a cap that stands out or is unusual; I am more interested in a classic design that is well made, fits well, looks good and protects me from the weather. Would highly recommend. I bought the Clive, which seems to fit my face shape and was the style I wanted. I will probably be back to treat myself to a peaked cap in Shetland wool, as these look great, and then I need a summer cap also....
