I have ordered some amazing Rye Sourdough and I will update the review as soon as I receive the order. For now I am just happy to share the feedback on the great experience I have had today, talking to a young lady on the phone. I have bought Karaway Bakery products before from Ocado and mostly been very disappointed with the quality: Ocado sells the bread mostly stale - freshly baked goods do last for at least one week naturally - and paying 5£ for a loaf of bread that I can use to hit nails on the head is not how I want to spend money. The trouble with Ocado is that most of their use by dates are appalling and when it comes to bread I am not willing to be forgiving: I mean, for crying out loud, who puts freshly baked bread in a chilled van??? for half a day???? So I have had a brain wave this week and placed an order with Karaway directly!!! They use PDP as Courier so the fixed rate is 6£ but the bread is kept at the normal temperature and I was able to browse through the whole selection which means I bought three loaves 😋 I called the Bakery today to check on my order ETD and I spoke with the nicest, friendliest girl, a fellow bread lover 😂, she answered all kind of questions and we had a good giggle! So far Karaway deserves 5* based on that interaction alone PS: Order was safely delivered and the Rye Bloomer is absolutely amazing, I will eat nothing else from now on 😁

Karaway bakery Borough Market are absolutely shocking. I don't care attitude from the staff member, advertising custard and raisin pastry. After payment a bread like stale item in celofame was handed over, when the disappointment was shared. The assistant said I cannot swap or refund with a smile. Ridiculous! Never again
