My son decided he wanted to start Judo after seeing the signs at the school, i was nervous at first but from his first lesson he has loved it. The teachers are fantastic with the kids. Always very friendly and welcoming. I mentioned my son was struggling with a particular part and they took the time to help him get the hang of it. I would highly recommend this club to anyone looking to start Judo or change clubs.

We are so lucky to have found Kangei and all the 5-star reviews here absolutely do this top judo club justice. You couldn’t hope to find a friendlier, more family-oriented club than Kangei. If Basildon is near enough for you to get to, look no further. We knew within minutes we had found a gem.

1st class judo club for kids and adults. "Kangei" is japanese for "welcome", and this Judo club couldn't be more suitably named. A warm and friendly atmosphere with players of all abilities from beginner to champion to England Squad members. They have plenty of BJA qualified coaches on hand to ensure every player gets not only the attention they need to advance in the sport but a safe training environment too. They are the largest and fastest growing club in Essex and for good reason. 10/10
