I have been coming to Kanburi Thai Spa for a few years now and have always had a great massage, loved the atmosphere along with the friendly staff, however on my latest visit that happened last week I found a huge disappointment. I was given a different therapist from my usual but I was assured it was the one I booked and has been to a few times already, I would think that I would know! she was also quite unwell but the cherry on top was when I was told that my loyalty card was not accepted here anymore. I had collected 10 stamps at this point worth over £600 and naturally I was looking forward to receiving a free massage on my next visit. The male receptionist was explaining to me in a very unfriendly & unpleasant way that I had this card for far too long, I explained to him that with Covid and travelling a lot I had been unable to attend but he kept repeating that I should have been informed about this previously, but no one did inform me and the conversation kept on going back on forth. As you understand my whole experience was completely ruined and I was upset to be treated this way, how can you treat what I believe to be a loyal customer in this way? There are so many other local massage places I could go to but I chose to keep coming back here because I liked the place and there was a reward promised, it is called a loyalty card and if you are not going to honour them then you don't offer them! I think it is pretty unacceptable to let one book and pay for all massages all the way through and then dispute the free massage, the least they could have done was to have honoured my free massage and then tell me that this will no longer be valid to pay for a massage in the future. In the end, I was offered a 50% discount which I found unprofessional & misleading and decided not to go back where a customer is not valued, the company simply does not care and has dishonest values as well as the wrong approach.

I took my mother there last month and OMG this was the best massage she's ever had in her entire life! I took her there as an early birthday treatment and they took time out to buy a small piece of cake and sang happy birthday for her. Seriously they are so amazing and talented. I'm taking my sister there for a surprise hopefully this month! See you soon again!

Korn's skills are amazing! I am someone who has good knowledge on anatomy and massages so am super particular when it comes to these things. Prior to this visit, I had a horrible experience with another Thai masseuse. I walked out of Kanburi spa not only feeling relaxed. It felt more like a treatment as Korn knows where needs tissue work - combining both gentle and firm pressure only for me to feel pleasure and relief. The environment was also clean, modern and relaxing. I would definitely come by again!
