Such a disappointment. There is some real skill here; the paneer is fresh, breads are good, the rice excellent but ultimately it's let down by the sauce. Everything is covered in a thick gloopy sauce that drowns everything but hides the fact that there is little of the main ingredient. Take the sag paneer. Really lovely cheese, but only 4 pieces, the rest of the dish is full of puree spinach green gloop. Bombay aloo, not so go, just slices of old soft potatoes covered in a lot of reddy brown gloop. Tarka dal, slightly different as there's no tarka going on here, just gloopy lentils. Meat dishes just the same, low on meat, heavy on a heavy gloopy sauce. As for the service....eccentric might be the best word. A request for a pint of tap water, got us 4 empty glasses. We got interrupted by another waiter wanting the dried flower arrangement in the window, now! Someone is wasting their time in the kitchen, because the over all impression is of a place that simply doesn't care enough Summed up by the lack of concern that we left most of the dishes untouched.

I was there Saturday for lunch and it was a feast to taste all the different things we ordered ! It was absolutely amazing , the waiter was very professional and kind and the prices are fair ! This is definitely be my choice of Indian restaurant while I live locally! I strongly recommend the ragda patties as a starter !
