It’s a little haven of peace and love. A community of very open and accepting people that literally all come together with the intention to have a more happy and optimistic mindset. I’m not religious or Buddhist but yet the centre speaks to my search for being more mindful and able to control daily stresses and worries. There is also a cafe with in which is always a bonus incase you are looking to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Appeared extremely friendly and welcoming at first but after attending a few classes I found the teaching to be very confining. Having some previous knowledge about Buddhism I pretty quickly realised that Kadampa had very little to do with The Way of Liberation, instead it felt like a sect. As I was becoming more and more convinced that this is not a good place to be, one of the monks (Sudana) became very unfriendly and hostile towards me imposing a confrontation which I was far from ready to have. The whole situation caused me a great distress and I would have never imagined that something like that would happen in a Buddhist centre.
