All year round Christmas (and some Easter items) shop stocked with traditional and more contemporary German decorations. The shop covers several floors in a very old house and thus there are plenty of staircases and visitors are encouraged to follow the trail that leads all around the house. It is a great way of spending a rainy hour and what is more the staff is really kind in helping with the stairs or suggesting short cuts for people with bad knees and hips. Many thanks

Don’t be fooled by its small exterior! This place is massive. This is now am ALL year round Christmas shop. It is spread out on 3 floors and houses absolutely thousands of baubles, sparkly bits and loads of handcrafted motion articles & cuckoo clocks. A fantastic shop with items priced from 50p to 5 thousand !! There's nearly nothing in here you can get from other shops. Have a visit, buy some bits and have a great day in York. Be sure to head to the shambles and also walk the York walls
