I cannot thank Ben and his father enough for all the support provided during a series of serious incidents with my parents house that resulted in the need for extensive repairs underneath their property, and rather unpleasant conditions. At one stage, without Ben to talk to and to give his professional wisdom, I think I would have risked serious mistakes. ‘K E Jones and Son have been working on our Grade II listed cottage for the last few months. We needed a French drain installed to prevent damp, re-rendering to damaged external parts of the cottage, redecoration of cottage walls, timber windows and doors, new lead applied to tops of windows, new garage doors, paths and back patio re-pointed, driveway re-laid and woodworm treatment to internal beams. This was extensive work to undertake but Ben and his team took it in their stride and nothing was a problem. Ben and his team are very professional, friendly and well presented. Throughout all the work undertaken Ben and his team have been very clean, tidy and conducted all works safely. All these factors we think are excellent qualities to have as a business. The work required was something new to us so we valued Ben’s expert help on how to restore these areas, what was the best method and what was needed for these works to be completed. Ben used his knowledge and skills with period homes and only used the materials and processes that are allowed for these particular properties. Ben described each stage, and gave us choice of best materials to use so we can make the right decision. For example with the garage doors we wanted them to match our front door but we could not find anything to buy off the shelf, so Ben took photos of the front doors and got garage doors made to match our requirements, they were perfect and even better than we imagined. Ben and his team often went that extra mile. We are very delighted with all the work Ben and his team have carried out, we will not hesitate to recommend him and his team.
