Excellent customer service and their expertise was much appreciated. I had lost a diamond earring with much sentimental value. Their in-house jeweller transformed the remaining earring into a beautiful solitaire ring by transferring the diamond into a ring they had onsite. I was so impressed with their professionalism, only took a day, and the results. All extras were returned to me, so trustworthy! I returned a few weeks later with some delicate necklace repairs and the work was done quickly and to a very high standard. It is really nice to have this high level of craftsmanship in town.

Went in there today to ask about my wife's engagement ring as she wants changes made. The man I spoke to was great and advised me on what the best thing to do would be however when the owner turned up, the man asked him infront of me for some advice and to see if he could suggest anything different. The owner was just rude and said NO, book an appointment. I dont have time. It would of taken 2 minutes just to have a look and suggest something. Then he said to his colleague " you always ask me questions when I'm busy". I was willing to spend £1000 in your shop today. Not now.

Recently lost a stone out of a ring I’ve had for years, have had this happen once before and took it to the jewellery quarter which cost me £100 about 15 years ago. I was in the high street in Stourbridge and asked someone if there was anywhere in Stourbridge that did these sorts of repairs and they recommended K Bassam, before this I had no idea they existed as they are tucked up an alleyway at the side of John Pargeters furniture opposite the old town police headquarters. I went in on the Saturday the jeweller had a look at it and quoted me for the stone, the setting, the claw repair and re-rhodium plating (as it was a white gold ring and loosing the previous plating). In my head on the basis of the stone and repair and the setting I had in my head maybe around £200ish, they quoted £244. So thought that sounded reasonable and wasn’t worth making a trip back and forth to the jewellery quarter. The jeweller said it would be a week to 10 days, which I was fine with. By the Tuesday I got a call to say it was ready. I went into the shop and collected on the Thursday and as I was handed the ring I looked at it and I honestly couldn’t tell which stone it was and it looked as good as new. I highly recommend these guys for repairs, next time you’re in Stourbridge go and find them, the quality of their work is excellent and I thought the price was reasonable.
