I have been a juwel fan ever since I bought my first RIO 300 over 20 years ago. I now have a Vision 450 which I bought 10 months ago. However one of my light units failed and Juwel have had it now for over ten weeks and not a peep out of them since.It's well within the guarantee period of 2 years so my patience is running out. After sales service is so shocking that I would seriously consider another brand if I were to buy another tank which is something I thought I would never say.

I have a Trigon 190 and it is 2 years old. Today the lighting unit failed... Juwels reply "Buy a new one". I think not, but thanks for your sagely wisdom. In essence what they are saying is that your lucky if your lights live longer than the warranty period. Expensive aquariums with terrible customer service and even worse support. I have many Tetra items and while they are less expensive their customer support is amazing. They are understanding and thorough and really care about getting the to bottom of a problem. Juwel just want to take your money then hope your stupid enough to spend more of your hard earned money on replacement parts.
