    I initially started training with Justin 5 years ago after observing him working with other clients in a public gym. I was inspired to trial some PT sessions with him because he appeared encouraging, considerate and attentive to his clients. After training with him I can vouch he definitely is all of these things! Justin helped me to develop my fitness overall, for a good year or so, until unfortunately my work schedule halted my training sessions. However, in the last year I have started back having PT sessions with Justin again. He is helping me to regain my fitness and strength, as well as working on my flexibility and gradual muscle toning, over time. Justin is always inspiring and motivating during our sessions and comfortably pushes me to further develop my abilities. He recognises the effort I put in and is always ready to ‘tweak’ an exercise if he sees I am having too much difficulty. He is patient and always listens to my feedback but still pushes me to push myself further to progress overall. For myself (an overweight slightly peri menopausal 40 something!) a slightly shyer person when it comes to fitness, I always find Justin makes me feel more comfortable with myself during our training and is accepting of my abilities as long as I am trying - which helps me to enjoy the exercise. He is keen to share his knowledge and suggests other exercise I could do in my own time. Each week Justin will ask what else I have been doing and as well as exercise I think it’s sometimes a ‘therapy’ session where I share the trials and tribulations of my week 😂 ...all in all if you are looking for a PT who I is relatable to real life and I is genuinely interested in helping you to develop yourself, then Justin is your man!

    I started with Justin in February 2022 nearly five months after an accident landed me in a major trauma unit, with broken ribs, whiplash and many damaged ligaments and tendons. I wondered if Justin would even accept me with all these issues. However, after discussing my needs and aspirations it was agreed to have two 45 minutes sessions per week. We started off slowly as I had literally been sitting for four months, and worked on core strength as well as some of the muscles that were most badly damaged. Now four months on I am back playing some of my sports which is wonderful for me. We still have more rehabilitation to work on, so I continue to see Justin twice a week to achieve my goals. He has not only helped me to regain core strength and overall improvement in fitness, but also tweaked the exercises to support different muscles in need of rehab. He listens and adjusts the training to meet my body's specific needs. I would highly recommend Justin to anyone who needs rehab, or wants to improve their fitness levels, he has depth of knowledge, listens to changing needs, is willing to adapt training as necessary, and most of all he is encouraging and makes training fun.

Before we started he took the time to arrange a meeting to discuss our ambitions and requirements and then planned a training programme to reflect this. Justin has been brilliant at tailoring our sessions to each of our needs meaning that although we are different ages and abilities we both come away feeling pushed to the right amount whilst still keeping it fun!     I had 3 trial sessions with Justin and now 1 weekly sessions per week. I have played badminton for more than 10 years and my knee is getting weaker every year. Justin has tailored my sessions to strengthen my knees in the past 3 months. I have always been opened and honest with Justin during the sessions. They were to improve my strength and my knees. He listens and offers a tailored programme that suits my ability and fitness. He has helped with knee exercises and also noticed some of my muscles that are weaker. He improved my endurance as well as giving tips of right stretches for my knees. He provides more than just personal training. I have noticed a big difference as I have stopped playing with my knee brace during my badminton sessions. I would highly recommend Justin.

    I’ve been training with Justin for a few years now and highly recommend him as a personal trainer. When I started working with him, I could barely balance on one leg or do a single press up from my knees. My body had suffered from two pregnancies and years of neglect during my kids younger years, when there always seemed too much to do to prioritise myself and my strength. I am also hyper mobile and suffer from a number of chronic conditions. Justin couldn’t be more thoughtful from a professional perspective, ensuring that our sessions and each individual exercise are tailored to my body and state of health on a given day - to challenge but not to push too far. When Covid arrived, we switched our sessions to virtual via WhatsApp - I was skeptical at first, but quickly realised that with very few pieces of equipment at my home, Justin was able to improvise and train me just as effectively as pre-Covid. In fact, it’s so convenient for me, we’ve agreed to keep working virtually even after the restrictions lifted. When I first started working with Justin, I told him I just wanted to improve my strength, not run a marathon….last weekend I walked 28.8 miles for charity and felt strong (if sore the next day!).     I love Justin's classes. Every one is different and you always go home feeling like you've had a good workout. He's great at tailoring exercises to fit your ability/strength/fitness and always adapts a workout to take account of any niggling injuries you might have. He creates a really fun and friendly atmosphere and as a result, a bunch of fun and friendly boot campers.
