A Fantastic shop. Every time I visit I find new things. Since I found the shop 2 years ago I've taken up crochet, bag making, quilting. I took on the Stylecraft Cablemagoria knitted blanket challenge. The shop is an Aladdin's Cave of all things sewing and knitting. Enjoy a tea or coffee and chat with Michaela about what you plan to make. One you've been once you'll be back many more times. There are some great classes taking place every day from beginners classes to much more advanced techniques. I am so glad I live nearby.

Fabulous shop, Michela is a wealth of knowledge and makes everyone feel at ease. Great selections to choose from too. Did a felt class here as well, I was well impressed! Am a quilter and can find all my sewing supplies here. Thank goodness for a decent fabric, sewing and knitting shop! Very friendly, just love this store! 5 stars all round.

A wee gem of a haberdashery with a great choice of good quality fabrics..and wool!! There arent many wool shops around anymore, so this is a one stop shop. Classes are of course on hold at the moment, but they offer a good skill set and i cant wait to get back to honing my bag making skills. Shop owner Michaela is really helpful and commited to great service..especially throughout this pandemic. A slick set up of pre-ordering and having your parcel ready for uplift at the shop door...along with a free cuppa n biscuit while you wait in the queue...much appreciated by my patient hubby. Just sew simple isnt my local haberdashery but its certainly my preferred one.
