If particular members of management treat people like this who are in the interview stage, I’d dread to think what they treat their employees like. Which is incomprehensible considering they’re working with the general public and within a care organisation!

    I have worked as a support worker and found the coordinators / manager to be very approachable and supportive. There is overtime available if needed, and when you first start the training is in depth and thorough. I have found it to be a very rewarding role and love the charity work the office staff also get involved with. The company benefits are very good also, you get access to NVQ which allows you to apply for as student NUS / TOTUM card and being a health and social care company you also get access to the blue light card which has lots of discounts. Recently they have reintroduced the employee of the month scheme and reward the staff that work hard and pick up extra hours when needed, so you are recognised and rewarded in your role.
