Recently dug up the path to lay the cables. Didn't turn up on the day they were supposed to after we all moved our vehicles. The letter was put through doors three days before the due start date. What it didn't say was that they had a 3 day permit - the letter intimated that it would probably be done in 1. The work was completed quickly but they did not clear up properly afterwards. The tarmac layers left lumps of tarmac in the road ready to lodge into car tyres or be carried into homes. There were lumps of brick and concrete left - I swept up quite a bit of the road to try and save some people from having to do it. If my son left a customer's property in that state after work was completed he would be in serious trouble. Also left sandbags and a couple of cones. They only got two stars because of the patient supervisor and young lady on the other end of the phone when I complained.

We had good communication initially when it came to the installation, with a couple months' wait which is fair enough as they are busy .. but since we have been set up, it goes from 450 to 3mb regularly. Things like Netflix and the PlayStation struggle to load. These drops are in rooms that the engineer had tested and confirmed high speeds for. Signal range is poor, we can't get signal immediately outside our back door, which had never been an issue before with previous providers. Those previous providers only offered 50mg but it was faultless and reliable. I can't work from home currently because of the issues we are having with this provider. I am hoping Jurassic Fibre will be able to rectify this, in which case I would of course update my review.

This is to be the best review I can give with the only faults as I see them that they can improve on. What you ain’t told before you join is that they use sc cables which mean you can’t use any other device in place of there modem or switch to any other provider. 2: they don’t tell you that they control the router 100% and you can’t make any changes without ringing them or emailing them, massive pain! 3: Sundays there are no one available to help and you have to go without internet all day if it has a problem. Overall they are probably the best customer service provider I’ve dealt with in recent times, they don’t make you feel you are being a nuisance and are always willing to make you happy. They definitely look after existing customers as well as new. The service can be improved with the things I’ve mentioned but still 8 out of 10 for me and 4 of 5 ⭐️ Edit: changed to 1 star because I’ve sent 3 emails in the last 3 weeks and haven’t had a single response, this sort of thing just overshadows everything else and is just asking for a bad rep!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Don't make the same mistake I did and sign up with Jurassic Fibre! I have been waiting over 8 months for my fibre broadband to be installed and have had nothing but delays and incorrect information with very little communication unless I chase them! So far I have had 2 missed installation days with no explanation unless I call to find out. No one seems to know what the other has promised or is doing at their end. They are fantastic up until you sign up then they can't be bothered to sort anything. Steer clear and find another provider! *UPDATE* I am now on 3 missed installation dates, with no communication from Jurassic Fibre. I have to call each time someone doesn't turn up to find out what's going on. That's 3 days off work for a company that can't be bothered to deliver on their promises!

Very ,very slow service to get connected. I had to wait a lot before i got connected. The speed is as advertised but to get there you need a lot of patience and time. 5 stars for internet speed , 2 stars for communication.

Shocking service, business broadband. Still no install after nearly 3 months. No communication from them what so ever, have chased everything all the way. Be very wary of this company they really are useless.

Wifi in the house is slower in some areas, but has never dropped below 70mbps. The service in general though is outstanding, 200-300mbps on most tvs and firesticks and 400ish on tablets and mobiles. When we had an issue with the way the sub contractors had installed the cable outside the house the issue was quickly resolved. One of the jurassic engineers personally watched over and supervised the fix to make sure it was to a high standard. This is a testament to the service they seem to be aiming to provide.

I've had Jurassic Fibre since last June/ July after moving to an area they serve. Being stuck with 40mb broadband for 4 years before that I went straight in on the 450mb package and it's honestly the best broadband I've had so far. No connection issues, no speed issues even when using VPN's, no issues with any of the staff I've spoken to. I'm also paying less than I did with PlusNet, Sky and BT in the past and getting much faster speeds. Installation was completed on the day given, the engineers didn't make a mess and even took time to explain a few bits, didn't block neighbours drives etc Read the good and bad reviews as they are both valid and worth asking about when signing up but be wary some negative reviews don't relate to the product at all. People mention issues with permits stopping their installation. I didn't have this issue but own my house, a friend is waiting to be connected but did have the same issue and delays because of communication issues been Jurassic fibre and the housing team who had to approve a Wayleave for the install. In return the company have offered a gesture of goodwill and given him a new customer offer better than his original one. People have complained the router isn't very good and you can't use your own. I've had no problems but can't change DNS settings, password, router name etc. However, you can use your own router but need to get the office team to switch the JF router to bridge mode for you.
