  I was going to start this review off by saying Mr Rowe-Jones is a magician. But I won’t as it dosent give him enough credit. He is however a highly skilled, knowledgeable and amazing consultant surgeon and I am eternally thankful for his work. I have been contemplating a rhinoplasty for many years and decided to have a consultation with Mr Rowe-Jones as I only wanted to go with the best of the best. Post my extremely informative consultation I am so thrilled I decided to go ahead. Mr Rowe-Jones is such a gentleman and his whole team including his medical (senior RGN) wife are wonderful (the dream team!) I’m only in the early stages post my surgery but I am already so pleased with the results and it’s only going to get better! Can’t thank the team enough, if you’re looking for a REAL surgeon with natural results that will work with you not against you and isn’t an instagrammer show off then you’ve definitely found the right one! I think his background of experience speaks enough for how incredible he really is!

  I called to discuss the lady who answered the phone was rude and impatient! Also you need to do 3 steps to see a surgeon it is like money making !!! You need to have a consultation online £120 and you have choice and have see a psychologist! and pay £150 🙄 and the a see surgeon if he agrees surgery it is right for you !!! If you don’t want to see a psychologist the receptionist said . “That’s what it is , it is “ Meaning ?! Wow never seen or heard before I have cosmetics surgery before a few times. Never seen like that !! Stranger place!

  My experience with Julian Rowe-Jones exceeded my expectations in every respect. Right from the start, the process was extremely transparent and supportive. All my questions were answered with an honesty and intelligence that promoted a relationship of absolute trust. It became apparent very early on that Julian and his team were committed to helping me achieve the best possible outcome as well as safeguarding my mental and physical health. The level of care really blew me away. As a result of this relationship of trust, I remember feeling excited on the day of the surgery as opposed to nervous or anxious, which I doubt many people can say. Julian and his team worked seamlessly to provide constant support and guidance. Whenever I had a query (even if it was minor) I received an answer immediately and this really helped set my mind at ease during the whole process. In terms of the procedure itself, it was very complex as Julian was correcting three different aspects of my nose: lowering the bridge to remove a bump; shrinking the tip to make it less bulbous; and straightening the nose in the front view. As a result, the surgery lasted for over three hours. Nevertheless, Julian worked meticulously and managed to achieve all three aspects of the surgery in addition to creating the ski slope profile I had specifically requested. The complexity of the surgery was exacerbated by the nature of my nose, but he used his extraordinary skill to overcome all obstacles and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Prior to the surgery, I felt very self-conscious about the appearance of my nose. I disliked people taking photos of me and avoided them as much as possible. It had a negative effect on my mental health and I spent my entire life dreaming about getting a nose job. It has been three months since my surgery and things couldn’t be more different. My self-image has never been better and not only am I happy to participate in photos, I now have a Youtube channel and I upload new videos every week! Getting a rhinoplasty can be a very difficult decision as many people may be telling you that it is unnecessary and too risky. However, I can honestly say that undergoing a rhinoplasty with Julian Rowe-Jones was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has transformed my life. I would therefore like to recommend Mr Rowe-Jones without reservation to anyone who may be in a similar position.

  I do not recommend this clinic for the following reasons: I paid a total of £420 for the following consultations : Video/virtual, psychologist and face to face. The virtual consultation was superfluous for sure and if anything, arguably unsafe, as the clinical assessment that was made was far from accurate. I was advised following this assessment that i could have a closed rhinoplasty with correction of columella. However, following the face to face consultation, and after accurate clinical assessment I was given a completely different management plan : I now needed an open approach and the columella could not be corrected. Thus, aside from the clinic charging extra for the video consultation, there was no clear added benefit for this. It was misleading if anything. Further, although the surgeon was friendly, his wife/assistant was certainly not. She had one of the worst bed side manners I have come across and was the principle reason I chose not to proceed with surgery. She had a very aggressive and abrupt attitude. Very dogmatic in her approach to patient care. She did not allow me to explore any areas I was unsure of and if I had politely asked for clarification she was very demeaning answering with "as I already said". I left having no faith in their services and did not contact them again.

  I can not recommend Dr Julian enough. His whole team is professional and so skilled. After my surgery I had minimal bruising and swelling and I we will pleased with this - this is totally due to Julian’s skill. I would have no hesitation fully recommend him, he really is world class.

  I recently had Rhinoplasty with Julian Rowe-Jones and his team. Before my surgery I did my research and so glad I did because it led me to the nose clinic. Based in Guildford in a beautiful office Julian’s team were very knowledgable and professional in answering all the concerns I had. I had a broken nose for 22 years that I hated and had a lot of emotional demons to battle with too which again Julian’s team were 1st class in dealing with as they are highly experienced and the best in the business at what they do. Julian is a genius, he is the most skilled surgent in the world and you feel really comfortable with him knowing the experience he posses with 25 years behind him and 2500 operations. He is a specialist in nose as this is the only procedure he does unlike many other surgents. Not only the experience, expertise and knowledge he posses but he really is a gentleman and puts you at ease and makes you feel confident even when I was nervous before my procedure he is cool, calm and collective and reassured me when I was at my most anxious. My nose was horrible before, I hated it and the magic this man can do now has transformed my weakness into a strength I now have a beautiful good looking nose that I love and has given me my confidence back. He and his team have simply changed my life! He is the best in the world at this procedure. Furthermore every member of his team are equally fantastic in thier respected areas of expertise and that was fundamental for my decision to do the procedure and to do with the nose clinic. If you are considering a rhinoplasty I would recommend the nose clinic a million times, do not settle for anything less than the best which is Julian and his team! If I cud give 10 stars I would I am that delighted with my experience. Lastly the hospital mount alvernia where the surgery takes place are equally fantastic as Julian and his team the whole experience from beginning to end was 2nd to none.

  I have worked with Mr Rowe-Jones for nearly 25 years now in my capacity as a representative for a high quality German instrument manufacturer. I felt the need to write a review simply because he is someone I respect extremely highly. Few people are quite as patient focussed as Julian and I meet few people who assess their instrumentation as rigorously as he does with a view to obtaining only the very highest quality patient outcomes. His patients are constantly at the centre of our discussions and drive his interest in the latest instrumentation and technology developments that are relevant to his field. In my opinion the true test of the quality of any clinician is the friends and family test. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending any of my friends and family, should they wish to have or require a Rhinoplasty to Julian Rowe-Jones.
