Working with Julia was great fun, as Julia completely understood my desire to use props to bring out the silly side of my personality. The photos from this shoot are to help me be more memorable when speaking on stage and for my website. Web developers aren't renown for having a personality, so that helps me to be different. Julia and I hit it off instantly and she helped me to relax in front of the camera and came up with great ideas to add to the poses that I had in mind. The time flew by and was far more fun than I expected a photo shoot to be. Yes, the photos are silly... but they were A LOT of fun to create! I'm already working on ideas for my next photo shoot with Julia

I had taken the plunge and decided that I needed a professional portrait photo for my social media and website. I wasn't looking forward to being photographed and actually felt quite anxious, however Julia made me feel very comfortable and relaxed and I was surprised to have really enjoyed the experience. Julia was very patient with me and worked with me to get a shot that I was comfortable with and that reflected my personality. Her photos are far from the static passport photo type portraits and her skills in encapsulating my energy and her photographic ability did not go unnoticed! I was amazed at the response that I got from so many people, saying how fabulous I looked. This really boosted my confidence and I am now very comfortable having these photos on view for the public to see. I have seen other portraits that Julia has taken of people I know and she really does have a remarkable talent at drawing out people's characters in her photography and making people look amazing. Being so impressed and keen to improve my own photography skills, I enrolled on one of Julia's photography workshops which was very exciting. Julia's calmness and passion for photography just oozed out into her students and we were all buzzing having learnt so much in one day. Julia has a wonderful talent and I am especially drawn to her unique and artistic' Light Painting' and I will certainly have my name on the list for her next light painting workshop. I would totally recommend Julia for any type of photography, from her beautiful prom photos, characterful portraits, to promoting product images.
