  I attended Judith's intense 2-week 'Professional Business of Floristry' course last Autumn and it was a truly life-changing couple of weeks! I'd been trading as a Florist for just a couple of months prior to attending the school having had no formal training (only practical work experience) and I found my confidence had taken a complete nose-dive and I'd started to question the sanity of what I was doing! I sat down one Thursday afternoon and typed some generic key words into the search bar to see what courses it might throw up. As a resident of Northern Ireland, I'd (perhaps too optimistically) hoped there'd be a suitable fast-track course available nearby but alas, it was not to be! Judith's school was one of the first search results I clicked on and to be honest, within about a half an hour of reading the information on her website, I'd made up my mind that this was the school I wanted to train with. I called up the school and spoke to the kindest lady; her name was Julia, who informed me there were still places on the course starting the following Monday. I took it as a sign, fate if you like, and said 'I'll take it!'. I booked a flight and headed across the water, stayed with a friend and attended what was to be the most amazing 2 weeks ever. The teaching was world class. We had so many different tutors over the course of the 2 weeks, from the GM of Mark Jacobs' London store who taught a session on visual merchandising to one of the most renowned floristry business minds in the US, who Judith flew over especially. We got real variety - theory, group work, flower demonstrations and probably the most useful, the many practical sessions we had on learning the techniques necessary to be an exceptional florist. Each day, we received guidance from Judith and her team on photographing our works for our portfolio and we were given special bags to ensure the safe transportation of our arrangements home. The whole thing was sensational. I don't have the words to express just how beneficial the whole experience was. The best money I ever spent - hands down! And to top it off, the ladies I trained with created a Whatsapp group to keep in touch and we all have done - it's been a great support to us all as we each embark on our own journey of self-employment in the floristry industry. Superb!! :)

  I took the three day course and truly loved every minute of it. Judith is a wonderful, diligent, intelligent teacher and she knows everything there is to know about flowers. The days were well organised and a lot of learning was packed in. Judith is generous with her knowledge and the quality of the flowers we were working with.

  I took the three-day course at Judith’s flower school early this month and it was great fun! I was so surprised that the course was so well-organised and professional though it was only for three days! All the materials were so well-prepared and surprisingly great especially those gorgeous fresh flowers!! Judith and her teaching team, Tom and Pip always ensured that we understood their instructions and answered our questions in great detail. And Julia was also very kind and helpful in explaining the differences among the Judith’s books. This helped me choose the right books for my future self-leaning! Beyond enjoying my time at this lovely place in South Kensington, I learned practical skills that made me confident in arranging flowers and creating my own floral design. And also, during the three days, I made a few floral works such as the handtied bouquet and the table designs. I gave them to my roomie, my teacher in uni for farewell, and the church. People who received them were all very happy and surprised! I did gain the joy of sharing flowers!!!! The Chinese saying goes ‘no comparison, no harm’. Judith’s course was the best comparing among other courses that I took in both England and China. Can’t recommend more!！

  I was bought the one day flower arranging taster course for my birthday as I love flowers, whic I attended last Saturday 02 Sept. I throughly enjoyed myself, and Judith and her assistant, Tom, could not have been nicer or more helpful to the whole class. It was a great experience and I learned how to make a display and hand tied bouquet; everyone who I've shown my photos to comment on how professional my flowers look - which is a great testament to Judith, who was patient, informative and keen that the whole class learnt from her and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Judith for a great experience.

  I have just completed the new one day course on growing flowers 🌺 and greenery; in your garden; for use in floristry 💐 . The course was fantastic ! I learned hands on skills for horticulture from true experts in their fields. I made some great new friends and created my first hand tied bouquet 💐 which I took home to my delighted girlfriend ! Thank you 😊

  Yet another lovely day at the school on Tuesday. I had previously done a week Diploma course and learned such a lot. But the lovely thing about Judith is that another course opens up a new level of her huge 'book' of experience. So i learned a lot AND gained confidence in things I'd learned before. Fab new course for anyone looking to have any size of a cutting garden and a MUST for anyone looking to grow flowers to fill their house the year around.

  I just finished a business of floristry course at the Judith Blacklock flower school. I feel this course helped me gain a wide knowledge of floristry techniques and also a wide knowledge of costing, pricing, marketing and All other aspects of floristry as a industry. Can't recommend enough

  Great time at the Judith Blacklock school, I did the business floristry course which is 2 weeks full of all the flower knowledge you need and great freidndly teachers. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to either start a new career in floristry or even for someone that has experience but wants to refresh themselves.
