Let's just say this when the home manager says turn up unexpected I know why. All fur coat no knickers comes to mind . Staff on phones or sleeping. Hope my kids look after me when I'm old. Looks nice inside but care is minimal. As a ex nurse I wonder how some staff get these jobs. It's not for the love shall we say. Sorry but if there was a no star I would give it. I would think before u put your loved one there.

Should be renamed Jubilee Gardens DON'T Care Home. Staff are too busy with mobile phones to look after residents. Manager changes every few months. The conditions that some of the residents are left in is inhumane. Unfortunately for my Father we found this out too late.

Disgusting environment nasty clinical lead Vic is rude and ignores people. Care workers using face book on shift on computers , needs to be shut down. Did I mention the lazy receptionist?

My wife's Aunt Rosina has been staying in the Windsor unit for a number of months and we could not wish for a better place for her to be. The care and attention she receives is brilliant!. Each time we have visited, unannounced, her room and communal areas are clean and tidy, the staff are pleased to see you and very helpful which puts our minds at rest how happy she is.

We approached moving my mother into a nursing home with extreme trepidation, having looked at a number of horrendous or mega expensive homes we found Jubilee Gardens. What a delight! The home is clean & well maintained, the manager & staff are very helpful & understanding & helped Mom to settle in very easily. We were encouraged to make any changes to her room that we wished in order to make it hers. When we leave her after visiting we do so in the knowledge that she is in good hands & is being well looked after. The only reason I have rated this only 4 stars is due to the fact that I couldn't enter 4.5 stars & Mom has only been there for 2 days however I'm sure that I will be updating this review to 5 stars very shortly. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a nursing home to have a look at Jubilee Gardens. Our Mother passed away on the 2nd of January, the care given to her & the rest of our family was exceptional. Nothing was to much trouble for the magnificent team on Clarence. As well as providing all the love & professional care that Mom needed in her final days (including moving staff from other units) they also found time to take care of the rest of us, ensuring that we had plenty to eat & drink and even providing a room for us to grab some much needed sleep. Although it seems unfair not to mention individuals I hesitate to do so for fear of missing anyone out. I did say I would be back with 5 stars so here they are.

Used to volunteer here in the day centre before it was closed down due to cuts in government funding. Lovely residents, kind and caring staff.

My Grandfather was put into this care home to get professional care. He had dementia and they neglected him, I wouldn’t recommend this care home and my grandad has now passed away because of the neglect. Me and my mum went upto the home to visit him but we found him in a bad way, he was lying in his own urine. Also one day my Grandad fell on the floor so they decided to give him His food on the floor instead of helping him up. I don’t recommend this home at all.
