Cannot recommend Johnathon highly enough, our oak floor was tired and worn with a few stained areas, he has completely restored it, it now has a beautiful natural finish and is immaculate. We are over the moon with it.His knowledge and attention to detail is second to none, a genuine, nice bloke!!

We were let down by another business after he had part sanded our lounge floor and I contacted John to see if he would be prepared to look at continuing the job. As he was working nearby he was able to come and look at what needed to be done and measured up and quoted a price to continue with the job which was acceptable to us. He rearranged his schedule to do our job as our lounge had needed to be emptied for when the original work had been started and came the next day to start our job which was in effect starting it again. The work was completed in three days which included resanding the floor at least two more times and then providing 4 coats of the relevant varnish. During each sanding he vacuumed the dust which was much less than what had been created by the first workman and was a pleasure to have in the house. Cheerful, knowledgeable and very respectful at all times and cleared up fully each time he finished. He knows his job, has fantastic experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone.

Jonny restored our floorboards to a very high standard. Repairing and replacing floorboards where necessary and giving us multiple options for varnish and stain. We chose to mix two different stains to get the colour we wanted and opted for a Satin varnish. We are delighted with the finish and can't fault the workmanship. The only issue we had was that the job took a lot longer than initially quoted, which did cause some inconvenience, but the price was agreed prior to completion. Overall we are extremely happy with the job and would recommend him.

I had Jonny and his team sand and varnish the floors in my new home at the start of this month. They were very helpful and happy to work to the timeframe i needed and work around obstacles like deliveries. I wasnt sure what finish i wanted so he offered to do some samples of different finishes and stains. He was very knowledgeable and was able to get the absolute best out of the floors. We went for a satin varnish in most of the house but a black stain in one room which looks amazing. Wish i could post pictures but the floors are still covered up with boxes and things from the move. Overall i would definitely recommend JT wood finishing to someone looking to get their floors done. It's an expensive undertaking of course but they offered better value (and much more professionalism!) than the other companies i got offers from. Was worth every penny in my opinion :)

Found this company on website Jonathan came round to my house on time, gave me a fabulous price and advised me about the wood floors I had no idea about, I immediately put myself in his hands definitely knew what he was talking about, arrived on time as date made and I must say I've had one floor done by another company and I can't believe how much better their work was, so pleased with it absolutely made up very professional and extremely trustworthy, two lovely hard working guys Thank you and see you soon for next rooms highly recommended x

Thanks to Johnathan we have a floor that looks amazing. Our oak parquet flooring was scratched, water damaged and looked tired and worn and Johnathon has done an excellent job, so much so we changed from a grey stain to a light clear finish as are so pleased with the work he had done. He was prompt, tidy and communicated very well with us, we couldn’t recommend him more highly. Thanks for a brilliant job we love our new flooring and the pictures do not lie.
