!!AVOID THIS PLACE!! Last summer, I’ve dropped off two small control arms to be sand blasted and then powder coated. First of all, they took months to get this done and the control arms were NEVER sand blasted! I only found this out recently as this place just powder coats over rusty metal!! The powder coating has started to flake off because of this! This place only cares about their pockets and they are definitely not professionals as if they were they would know not to powder coat over rusty surfaces! If you love your pride and joy do not get anything done by this company otherwise you’ll be paying twice!!

I had my polished cast aluminium brake master cylinder clear coated last year and it was ruined when I received it back. Lots of black over spray all over it and lots of the holes were filled with the coating. It was with the guy for weeks and clearly not cover very well. The filled holes needed to be cleared, which I had to do myself this created burrs and now the fluid leak internally. The worst part was he still wanted paying for it.

I have a home gym in my garage where over the past few months have taken some of the items to James for powder coating. He’s done a fantastic job every time, in fact better than the original finish. If you have a home/garage gym where corrosion resistance is a priority to keep expensive equipment looking it’s best, then don’t hesitate to make contact with James. Prices and lead times are very reasonable and more importantly James is a genuinely nice guy to deal with.
